Hire Teachers With Confidence
Assurance in Training. Confidence in Quality. Trust in Accreditation.

Hiring teachers with an IATQuO-accredited qualification guarantees comprehensive teacher preparation, observed teaching practice, and expert-led instruction.
A teacher with an IATQuO-accredited TEFL qualification has successfully completed a course that meets the highest industry standards. These courses are externally moderated on a regular basis and follow these five key pillars:
- Comprehensive Training – A minimum of 130 hours of contact between trainees and tutors and study time (most courses range from 130-150 hours).
- Balanced Curriculum – A well-structured blend of theory and practice, covering English grammar, phonology, learning styles, and teaching techniques.
- Real Teaching Experience – Each trainee completes a minimum of 6 hours of observed teaching practice with real learners, receiving tutor feedback.
- Qualified & Experienced Tutors – Courses are led by trained and experienced professionals, with strong academic management in place.
- Quality Facilities & Resources – Training centres must meet minimum standards for premises, teaching materials, and resources.
IATQuO-accredited TEFL courses meet the same standards required by the British Council for teachers working in accredited language schools in the UK. Courses are equivalent to Level 5 on Ofqual’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
IATQuO-accredited courses undergo regular external moderation to ensure they continue to meet quality standards.
Moderation takes place every every 6th, 7th, or 8th course or at least once per year (if fewer courses are run annually). It involves reviewing course content, teaching quality, trainee progress, and assessment methods.
This means that when you hire a teacher with an IATQuO-accredited qualification, you’re hiring someone who has trained on a program that is regularly monitored and held to consistently high standards.
